Help for Small Businesses

自1999年以来，D.C. 酒吧 公益性服务 Center has operated the Small Business Legal Assistance Program to provide legal assistance to the District’s small businesses. It provides the following services:

• Small Business Brief 建议 Legal Clinics. 的 purpose of the clinics is to provide brief legal information to small business owners and prospective entrepreneurs who operate in economically disadvantaged areas or who have limited financial resources. 的 clinics provide current and aspiring business owners with an opportunity to speak with an attorney one-on-one. Volunteer attorneys help review legal documents and answer questions about starting a business, 税收, 房地产租赁, 就业法, and other legal issues common to small business owners.
  
  COVID-19更新: 的 Small Business Brief 建议 Legal Clinics are now offered virtually, on a rolling basis. Brief attorney consultations are set over video call or phone as small business owners sign up, and if an attorney with the appropriate expertise to assist is identified. Small business owners must register for the virtual Small Business Brief 建议 Legal Clinics.

• 中小企业培训. 的 Small Business Legal Assistance Program conducts trainings in conjunction with small business counseling centers, government agencies and law firms in order to educate small businesses on important legal issues.
